KVR has launched a u-he Synth Bundle Giveaway, offering a chance to win the ACE, Bazille, Diva and Zebra synthesizer instruments.

Acon Digital Multiply wins KVR Developer Challenge 2014

KVR Audio has announced that the Multiply chorus effect plug-in by Acon Digital has won the Developer Challenge 2014.

In first place is Acon Digital with their chorus effect plugin, Multiply, an Audio Unit, VST Plugin and AAX Plugin for 32- and 64-bit Windows and Mac OS X.

Being both Mac & Win compatible Acon Digital win 60% of the KVRDC14 prize fund! Of course they also win the fantastic A3E prize giving them the opportunity to present their entry at the A3E show in Boston, September 23-24, 2014! Congratulations to them.

The Nova-67P equalizer/compressor plug-in by vladg/sound takes 2nd place, while 3rd place goes to the Emissary dual channel guitar tube amplifier effect by Ignite Amps.

The winner in the Soundware category is NanoMod #7: 8-bit, a collection of vintage 8-bit digital synths for Kontakt by Rhythmic Robot. The Fifth Degree MIDI sequencer for iOS by Bernie Maier takes the Wildcard prize.

KVR Audio has announced that its Developer Challenge 2014 contest has entered the voting stage.

The time is here! The KVR Developer Challenge 2014 entries are now live and available for free download for everyone. Go get ‘em from: www.kvraudio.com/kvr-developer-challenge/2014

There are 37 entries: 29 run on Windows, 9 on Mac OS X, 1 on Linux, 1 on iOS and 6 are Soundware for other products.

Donations for the prize fund stand at $1337… thanks to everyone who has donated so far. Let’s see if we can break $2000 before voting closes on 25th August, 2014. You can make a donation to the prize fund here – thanks.

KVR Audio has announced the launch of the KVR Developer Challenge 2014, the fifth free-for-all audio plug-in, audio application and soundware design event.

KVR Developer Challenge 2014

The KVR Developer Challenge is for anyone who develops Audio Plug-ins or Applications and Soundware. The challenge is to create and release a brand new free audio plug-in, application or sound library / pack / set that will benefit the community at large. Creativity is key, it can be as simple or as complex as you want – KVR members will vote on the entries and pick the eventual winner using whatever criteria they choose to…

Check out the previous challenges to see what kind of weird, wonderful, indescribable, creative and impressive creations were entered in the past, there’s probably something for everyone: KVRDC06KVRDC07KVRDC09KVRDC12.

The entrants take part for the challenge of course, but to sweeten the deal, anyone and everyone can make a donation towards the prize fund via PayPal! This prize fund will be distributed to the eventual winners in September after release and voting in August.

Save the Children Charity diploma 2012

Luftrum has launched Call to Arms: Charity 2013, a fund raiser auction in support of Save the Children.

The past two years the sound industry raised over $23000 for Save the Children, in a charity event on the forum of KVR Audio. Companies donating software and hardware on auction to the highest bidders.

This year, my aim is to raise $20000 for Save the Children, marked to the emergency fund for the Syrian children.

Auctions include products by Moog Music, FabFilter , Camel Audio, Goldbaby, Cableguys, FXpansion, Propellerhead, D16 Group, and many more.

All auctions end on October 31st, 2013, 11:59:59 pm Central European Time (CET).
