No Evil Pro is proud to present our first NI Maschine expansion pack. This pack includes several synth samples and drum samples. The 138 drum samples are field recordings, or software generated. The 48 synth samples are from several tone generators.

The Oscillation v1 is a Maschine expansion pack that is “all about synth”.

The Maschine sound files are comprised from sampled synthesizer one shots, micro cycle loops, single cycle wave forms and a few field recordings. The samples range from a single oscillator square wave, a combined saw and square, to twenty stacked saw waves. The samples were recorded from multiple tone generators, several older (cheaper Casio, Yamaha) keyboards and a couple of field recordings.

With the recent addition of Massive to the Maschine family over fifty massive patches are also included. Many of these patches are also mapped to macro knobs so the patches can be played and automated in Maschine or your preferred DAW.

There are nasty bass sounds, wicked drones, evolving sound scapes, video game blips, ethereal pads, bells, VA leads, sound effects and few other surprises included in the Project files.

Native Instruments has announced the release of Helios Ray, a new Maschine Expansion providing sounds and beats drawing from London’s broken beat scene and LA’s abstract beat producers.

HELIOS RAY contains three distinct styles of drum kits – Vinyl, Digital and Analog. The Vinyl Kits provide a wealth of vinyl kicks, finger snaps, shakers, vocal samples, claps, snares, crackle, record stops and more – representing the loose, off-kilter hip-hop of LA’s abstract beat scene. The Digital Kits feature Brazilian and Latin percussion such as shakers, bongos and congas, and smooth, warm basses ideal for producers working in a nu jazz and broken beat style. The Analog Kits contain gritty drums and percussion provided by classic hardware units. All included drum kits also feature pre-programmed patterns for each kit, providing producers with an inspiring platform from which to improvise.

Producertech has launched Maschine – The Complete Guide, a new video tutorial course by Rob Jones.

This course takes you through every part of the Maschine software and hardware, slowly explaining how each one works and the ways they can be used to create a variety of different styles of music.

After every aspect has been covered, the course ends with a lengthy, 2-part tutorial, showing how to construct a classic house track from scratch, which is also available as a separate course for anyone who already knows Maschine quite well but simply wants some new tips for producing with it.
