Soul Rush Records has released Epic Metal Guitars, a collection of metal guitar samples.
These epic metal guitar riffs and hooks were recorded at 128, 140 and 174 bpm and are perfect for adding credible edge to your tracks; the deep driving distortion and melodies will reel in your listeners and give your tunes more body and strength.
Performed by guitarist Steve Down whose talents have been trusted live and in the studio by the likes of: Joss Stone, KT Tunstall, Sandi Thom, the BBC, Neil Cowley, The British National Theatre and more!
The riffs and hooks were played on a Fender Custom Telecaster guitar, recorded through an Eleven Rack processor.

This time we equipped the studio with a Mesa Boogie Rectifier glued on maximum, a collection of axes and a gang of guitarists, that when you added up their combined ages, it mysteriously came to six hundred and sixty six

KVR user chokehold has released Tiny Metal Impact, a free sample pack featuring 95 samples of metal objects.
In the last couple of days I did a very strange thing for a KVRist… I hooked up my Mic to my Interface and actually recorded something. Hah. I could hardly believe it myself.
Anyway, what came of it were 95 little samples which I very neatly sorted into 4 instrument categories:
