Audjoo has released a new beta of Helix, a freeware synth plug-in for Windows PC.
Changes in this beta
- New: simple LP filter
- Changed: filter-Q turned into filter-Res (and code to handle old presets)

Helix is starting to look quite pretty (thanks to Jörgen @ Northernbeat Audio). I find the controls a little hard to work with but it’s definitely a major improvement.

Andrej A. Golob has created 2 sound banks (16 patches each) for Daedalus by Northernbeat Audio.
Daedalus is a donationware VA type VSTi synth created with SynthEdit. The free version works fine is limited to 16 patches (hence these 2 banks of 16 patches) and it shows a little nag screen. A donation will get you a 128 presets version with nag screen.

Note: Possible “issues” with this version could be that the Chorus Width may need adjusting a little in order for the amount to reflect the knob position in your saved presets. Just give the knob a wiggle and then save the preset again.
