Orange Tree Samples has announced the release of Evolution Rosewood Grand, a piano sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt.

In collaboration with Rosewood Recording Company, Orange Tree Samples is proud to present Evolution Rosewood Grand, an extensively-sampled Yamaha C7 grand piano sample library.

Evolution Rosewood Grand has a beautiful tone and accurate response right out of the box, capable of playing everything from hard-hitting rock to soft ballads.

Evolution Rosewood Grand features

• Over 7 GB of samples (3.9 GB using Kontakt’s NCW lossless compressed format).
• 12 velocity layers, 2x round-robin, chromatically sampled.
• Advanced scripting with realistic damper modeling, pedal techniques (half-pedaling, repedaling, etc.), and sympathetic resonance.
• Onboard compressor, EQ, and reverb effects.
• External preset system for easy sharing of presets.

Orange Tree Samples has released Lap Steel Guitar, a sound library for Native Instruments Kontakt.

Lap steel guitars are very flexible and versatile instruments, and make a great addition to a variety of musical styles. As well as easily fitting in folk, country, and pop productions, they also sound great with distortion for rock and blues tunes.

The Orange Tree Samples Lap Steel Guitar sample library features around 1 GB of high quality samples, with three dynamics and four round-robin samples for each chromatically-sampled string–giving you a total of over 2,000 samples, powered by an extensive script.

Orange Tree Samples has updated the Evolution Acoustic Guitar – Steel Strings sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt, featuring a completely new interface and a rewritten scripting engine.

Evolution Acoustic Guitar – Steel Strings enables keyboardists to easily and quickly create authentic sounding electric guitar parts without the need to hand edit MIDI.

Changes in Evolution Acoustic Guitar – Steel Strings

• Pick position modeling. This feature realistically reproduces the timbral differences of a string plucked in different areas.
• External presets. All the effects, mapping, and performance settings can now be stored in external preset files. That means that you don’t have to reload the entire library to audition different presets. It also means that the presets can be easily shared with other Evolution users.
• Reduced memory footprint. Using dynamic sample purging, the Evolution guitar engine only loads the articulations you’re currently using to reduce memory usage and speed up loading time.

The sound library is available to purchase for the (re)introductory price of $139 USD until June 30th, 2012 (regular $179 USD).

Orange Tree Samples has updated its Evolution Electric Guitar Strawberry guitar sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt.

After a year in development, we’re pleased to announce the release of the new Evolution guitar engine. We completely redesigned the interface and the scripting to greatly increase the playability and ease-of-use of the library. We’ve applied the updated engine to the Strawberry electric guitar sample library, and will soon release the Steel Strings acoustic guitar library as well. Future guitars in the Evolution series will also use the new engine.
