iZotope has announced it has licensed Radius to AIR Music Technology for inclusion in the Ignite.

Ignite, a desktop recording and creative software solution, is for musicians looking to capture ideas quickly and easily with M-Audio, Akai Pro and Alesis MIDI keyboard controllers. Radius, a time-stretching and pitch-shifting algorithm, will provide Ignite users with even more control over their creative workflow.

“When we were looking for a time-stretching algorithm for Ignite, iZotope was the first company we thought of because of the pedigree of their technology. Even at extreme tempo changes, the quality of Radius is very high,” says Principal Product Manager Samara Winterfeld of AIR Music Technology. “iZotope worked closely with our development team on ways to optimize the integration, which is also something that is very important to us.”

Ignite features Smart MIDI technology to help jump-start ideas and enhance music-making skills. In addition to hundreds of onboard instruments and extensive MIDI control, Ignite supports two tracks of simultaneous audio recording.

KeroVee is focused to so-called ‘Autotune effect’ or ‘T-Pain effect’, that is robotic but different from the vocoder. KeroVee can mix two independent transposed outputs of pitch-corrector and bypassed output.

RoVee is a VoiceChanger / formant tweaking plugin that works as a VST effect. That can convert voices to like male, female, toys or robotic. RoVee is a cut-down version of full featured pitch-correction plugin ‘KeroVee’.
