Soundcells has announced Boost 309 Version 4, an updated version of the ReFill for Reason.

“Boost 309 v4″ is based on the complete sample set of the vintage, lo-fi but charmingly sounding machine Rave-o-lution 309 by a company named Quasimidi. Soundcells has created 100 brand new combinator drum machines for you with these samples.

It all ranges from the old original 309 thing to amazing and unique patches that could have never been created within the 309 itself. Besides cool beats and complex, crazy rhythms Boost 309 will offer the user even more! Version 4 is an awesome update which adds 20 combinator patches: 5 combinator drum machines (plus their 5 shuffled counterparts) & 10 great playable combinator synth patches. Not to forget about the new Kong & ReDrum kits…

Boost 309 version 4 features

  • 230 combinator patches in 4 folders: Bass, Leads, Pads, Polyphone Synths.
  • 100+ NNXT patches, 20 Kong kits, 26 ReDrum kits and over 300 samples from the original 309.

Synth Magic intros Digital Love Child

Synth Magic has announced Digital Love Child, a sound library for Native Instruments Kontakt.


Synth Magic’s Digital Love Child includes waveforms taken from various synthesizers.

This Kontakt instrument is a collection of waveforms taken from lots of different synthesisers. Synths such as Korg DSS-1, Kawai K5, Moog Phatty, Sid Chip, 1000p additive synth, Evolution Evs1, Quasimidi synths, CX5m have all been sampled through valve pre-amps and placed under the control of a custom GUI.

Digital Love Child features

  • Nearly 2GB of samples recorded through valve pre-amps using high quality converters.
  • Custom Kontakt GUI Interface (by Flavours of Lime).
  • Over 200 presets included randing from pads, keys, bass, weird alien drones and 60’s sci-fi, dance stabs, digital clangs and abstractions, vector sounds, additive risers the list goes on.

Soundcells have created 90 brand new combinator drum machines for you with these samples. It all ranges from the old original 309 thing to amazing and unique patches that could have never been created within the 309 itself. Besides cool beats and complex, crazy rhythms Boost 309 will offer you even more!

Version 3 is a huge update which adds 10 new combinator patches, 20+ ‘Bitrman‘ flavoured rex loops making use of the original Rave-o-lution groovebox recorded thru an Alesis Bitrman fx unit, as well as 15 awesome Kong kits making use of Kong´s synthesis methods…

Boost 309 v3 features

  • 120 combinator patches containing deep basses, great playable keys, surprising leads and awesome pads.
  • 90 combinator drum machines: 45 basic setups with their 45 shuffled counter parts.
