Boscomac releases Vertigo Wave for Reaktor

Boscomac has announced the release of Vertigo Wave, a free ensemble for Native Instruments Reaktor.

Boscomac Vertigo Wave
The Vertigo Wave ensemble produces sound similar to the Ondes Martenot.

It is an instrument that provides an approach of the Ondes Martenot (invented by Maurice Martenot). Four tones are proposed: Onde, Nasillard, Complexe, Octavian. To better reproduce the expressiveness of the original instrument, VERTIGO WAVE controls herself with one hand on the keyboard and one hand on the modulation wheel which manages the intensity of velocity and speed of the vibrato.

Hear the sirens singing, hear the ghosts wandering, hear UFOs flying, hear the cinematographic world of the Ondes Martenot …

The Vertigo Wave ensemble is a free download. Donations are appreciated.

Mrthebigman releases E|Loops X1 & A|Bass XL sample packs

Mrthebigman A|Bass XL

Mrthebigman has announced the release of the E|Loops X1 and A|Bass XL sample packs.

E|Loops X1 was born out of Native Instruments Reaktor and then schooled by Logic Pro.

I took all of the samples in the E|Drums : Kit Arsenal pack and created brand new samplemaps for the Reaktor platform. I then ran them through the following ensembles: What you are left with are 200 of the most random drum loops I have ever produced, usable in all genres of music.

The E|Loops X1 pack includes 200 loops at 120bpm, all 8 bars in length. It is a free download at Mrthebigman.

The A|Bass XL library includes a total of 1,250 samples (919 MB of individual sounds).

We have been giving away smallish bass packs for a while now and we felt it was time to fully update the series and make it bigger, bringing it into line with the new XL series we are planning over the next few months and years.

In this installment there are 50 seperate bass sounds fully multisampled from 10 of the best synth sources.

The A|Bass XL pack is available to purchase from Sampleism for £3 GBP.

Peter Dines updates Chroma and Griss Gris to v1.0.3

Peter Dines Chroma and Gris Gris

Peter Dines has announced version 1.03 of the Chroma and Gris Gris sequencer and synthesizer for Native Instruments Reaktor, which adds a few features and fixes a couple of minor bugs.

The Gris-Gris synth now has two additional filter types, bandpass and high pass, and a ring mod control for metallic and bell tones. It comes with a much expanded and refined Lemur template that allows full editing of sequences.

To celebrate the release of this new version, the Chroma and Gris-Gris sequenced synth ensemble is temporarily reduced in price from $24.99 to $19.99

Chroma can be purchased and downloaded right now. Remember, Chroma is a Reaktor ensemble and requires a full installation of Reaktor 5.8.0, not just Reaktor player.

I’ve also added further support for Lemur. The new template has three pages – the original quickpage, plus a sequence edit page and a full synth edit page that offers control of every parameter in the Gris-Gris synth. The quickpage now has controls for sequence speed, key and scale type.

Boscomac releases Freezbee free Reaktor ensemble

Boscomac has announced Freezbee, a free Reaktor ensemble for freezing audio.

Boscomac Freezbee
Who has never dreamed to suspend sound like a frisbee in the sky?

FREEZBEE is an effect that freezes an incoming signal. A buffer stores a few seconds of sound and keeps it in the air as long as you want. You can link the button “freeze” to a controller (footswitch for example) and act in two modes: GATE or LATCH. There is a lowpass filter to soften the frozen signal and the stereo jitter allows spatialize the result. Originally designed for guitar, Freezbee works with any mono source …

The Freezbee ensemble is a free download, donations are accepted.
