Renoise 3 beta released

A first beta of the Renoise 3 tracker-based digital audio workstation for Windows, Mac, and Linux has been released.

Renoise v2.8.0 Final released (incl. full 64-bit support)

Cross-platform music production software Renoise has been updated to version 2.8.0 final.

Renoise is a complete, expandable Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) with a refreshing twist. It lets you record, compose, edit, process and render production-quality audio using a tracker-based approach. It features a wide range of built-in audio processors, alongside support for all commonly used virtual instrument and effect plug-in formats.

Changes in Renoise v2.8.0

  • Full 64-bit support
    • 64-bit versions for all platforms: Windows, OSX and Linux.
    • Plug-in bridge allows 32-bit plug-ins to be used within 64-bit Renoise.
    • Full Rewire 64-bit support.
  • Reworked Pattern Maxtrix with Slot Aliases
    • Alias individual pattern slots in the matrix, i.e. treat them like clips.

Puremagnetik releases B-System: Atmospheres

Puremagnetik has released B-System: Atmospheres, a collection of 17 advanced Instrument Racks recorded from an original Buchla 200e.

B-System Atmospheres for Ableton Live contains a collection of 17 advanced Instrument Racks including 14 multisampled synth pads. The Live version also includes 3 textural arrays of expressive evolving atmospheres. All instruments have been expertly crafted by Puremagnetik sound designers to integrate seamlessly into Live.

The Kontakt, Logic and Renoise versions of B-System Atmospheres come with 17 multisampled instruments that easily integrate into your chosen host. For Kontakt users, each instrument has been uniquely programmed with a custom KSP GUI for instant tweakability. Logic and Renoise instruments have been natively constructed from scratch to ensure maximum playability and expressiveness on each platform.

The Renoise team has released version 2.8 beta of its Renoise music production software for Windows, Mac and Linux.

Renoise 2.8 adds 64-bit support for all platforms and concentrates on workflow improvements in various aspects: main new features are a revamped Pattern Matrix, collapsible tracks, grouping of tracks, new DSP and meta devices and much much more.

Puremagnetik releases Devil07 sample library

Puremagnetik has released Devil07, an emulation of the classic Roland TR-707 as modified by Diabolical Devices with ring modulation, filtering, distortion and doubling type effects.

Devil07 is a classic Roland TR-707 drum machine instrument and much, much more! With close to 600 individual samples, and 21 banks of sounds, Devil07 will take you to places that the original 707 could never come close to.

The TR-707 used for this library was completely upgraded by master circuit bending technician Diabolical Devices. Using a system of patches and switches, each “bent” sound was explored and all of its expressions captured with high resolution a/d conversion. The library includes an enormous collection of “Mechanical”, “Bitpitched”, “Shorted” and “Rusted” sounds all categorized into individual banks.

Puremagnetik Juniper Part One

Puremagnetik has announced the release of Juniper Part One, a collection of expertly crafted instruments based on Roland’s legendary Jupiter 6, 8 and MKS analog synthesizers.

Acclaimed for their huge polyphonic sound, pristine filters and oscillators, the Jupiter series can now be experienced right from your desktop. Puremagnetik’s Juniper has been sampled using the Jupiter’s voicing structure and dynamic filter responses to create a playable, multisampled collection of instruments.

This pack contains 30 multisample instruments and over 800 high quality 24 bit recordings. Juniper Part One also includes a selection of thickly layered multis and splits as found in the original models.
