SampleScience updates Original Breakbeat Pack Vol.1 free sample pack

SampleScience has updated the Original Breakbeat Pack Vol.1 sample pack, including new sounds and formats.

SampleScience Original Breakbeat Pack Vol.1

Original Breakbeat Pack Vol.1 was originaly released in october 2008 to promote my first album called PlastikDisc. The pack has been updated, some sounds were removed & other were added to make it a solid 50 samples pack.

The samples were made with various software drum synthesizers, hardware drum machines, grooveboxes & self recorded acoustic sounds all layered, mangled, twisted & processed to make those original breakbeats.

Each loop has it’s own sound signature, there’s no variation of the same loop provided, you’ll have to do this yourself. The idea behind this sample pack is to give you royalty-free samples that you can use as if it was lifted from vinyls. So the content isn’t always clean, vinyl & tape noises was added to give those sound more texture & guts! Don’t hesitate to chop, remix & re-arrange the loops & sounds to your taste. It is by no mean a string the dots construction kit type of library. It is meant to be sampled & chop in a creative way!

SampleScience releases Dusty Eclectic Goldmine Vol. 1

SampleScience has announced the release of Dusty Eclectic Goldmine Vol. 1, its first commercial sample library.

SampleScience Dusty Eclectic Goldmine Vol 1

Dusty Eclectic Goldmine is a collection of sounds consisting mainly of breakbeat loops. The focus is on dirty, lofi sounds that would fit well into a mix of Boards of Canada & Aphex Twin tracks. The collection also include a dialogue folder full of sound clips from vintage advertising & educational movies. Those public domain cuts have been selected to be usefull for anyone seeking worthwhile sound bites to put in their mix. They have been sampled with Ninja Tune records & early 1990 IDM in mind. The rest of the collection consist of inspiring music loops as well as FXs, one shots, field recordings & vinyl crackles.

I hope you’ll enjoy this collection. While designing the sounds, I had in mind to put up a sound library similar to the good old e-Lab X-Static Goldmine libraries. Don’t hesitate to chop, remix & re-arrange the loops & sounds to your taste! It is by no mean a string the dots/construction kit type of library. It is meant to be sampled & chop in a creative way.

The wav files works well in Sony MediaSoftwares Acid music production software as well as any other softwares that loads 24 bits wav files. The library is also available in REX2 format.

Dusty Eclectic Goldmine Vol. 1 is available to purchase for $5 USD.
