Organic Loops has launched Real Brass Vol. 1, a collection of real brass instrument loops and scores.

Having played on sessions for Ian Livingstone for some years, trumpeter Hugh Davies started offering the same virtual session service to anyone who needed it under the auspices of Realbrass in March 2011. Since then Realbrass has gone on to provide brass and horn sections on many tracks covering all kinds of media from internet advertising campaigns such as British Airways to major brand TV advertisements such as Mars via independent producers/DJ dance tracks and theatrical productions.

The Collection comes with packed with over 1 GB of material featuring 90 – 126 BPM loops including 60 different arrangements with separate stems of Saxophone, Trumpets and Trombone sorted into accompanying Riff arrangements and Pad (chord) arrangements, both types available in two separate keys allowing complete flexibility when mixing and arranging.

Expect to hear Funky Disco Riffs, Powerful Orchestral Swells, Tight Syncopated Ensembles and Modern Day Fanfares. Real Brass Vol1 also comes complete with a Multi Track MIDI file and all the Scores in a PDF for even more flexibility.

Producer Pack has announced the release of Andy Sax House Hooks, a selection of sax hooks and riffs designed specifically for the house producer in mind.

AndySax is one of the UK’s most entertaining and sought after saxophonists. He has worked with many well-known artists and has excited crowds all over the world.

Sample Modeling has announced the release of its The Saxophones sound library, a collection of Bari, Tenor, Alto & Soprano saxophones.

The Saxophones utilizes Samplemodeling’s proprietary SWAM Engine (Synchronous Wavelength Acoustic Modeling) developed by Stefano Lucato.

The Saxophones use samples as a base material, chromatically performed by a professional player over a very wide dynamic range, and recorded with state-of-the-art technology. The resulting timbre is therefore that of the real instrument. But the analogy with a sample based library ends here. The underlying, proprietary technology allows continuous interpolation among different vectors like time, dynamics, pitch and formants. Advanced real time processing techniques yield realistic legato/portamento, vibrato, overblow, ornamentations & trills with phase continuity, constant-formant pitchbends, subharmonics, growl and flutter tongue to be performed in real time.
