Sinevibes releases free Atom plugin for Mac

Related: , , , , Posted in news on Jul 07, 2014 - comment 0 comments

Sinevibes has launched Atom, a free filter effect plug-in for Mac.

Sinevibes Atom

Atom is a filter with focus on dynamic, tempo-synchronised modulation. It features five different resonant filter types each with three slope settings – up to super-steep -48 dB/octave. But what makes it special is its two modulators which feature multiple waveforms and run at rates from 1/128 note to 16 bars. Thanks to the chaos function which randomises the amplitude of each modulator cycle, as well as lag switch that smoothens the waveform curves, Atom allows you to easily create lively, elaborate filter effects that work perfectly for pretty much any kind of input source.

Atom is also the first Sinevibes plugin to feature a new interface design language that cleanly presents internal components and logical or audio connections between them. With immediate response and no menus to get lost in, Atom is a simple yet delightful tool that you will surely use a lot.

Atom features

  • Multi-mode filter with five types and –12/24/48 dB/octave slope steepness.
  • Dual modulators with eight waveforms, per-cycle chaos function and shape lag on/off switch.
  • Advanced transport sync algorithm with support for tempo and time signature automation.
  • Extensive use of OS X Core Animation and Accelerate frameworks for hardware-accelerated graphics and audio processing.

Atom is a free download for Mac OS X 10.6 or later (32/64 bit AU).

Sinevibes updates Turbulence to v2.0 + Sale

Related: , , , Posted in news on Jun 27, 2014 - comment 0 comments

Sinevibes has released version 2.0 of Turbulence, an new “wave transformer” plug-in for Mac.

Sinevibes Turbulence 2.0

Turbulence is a special distortion processor that literally “bends” and “curls” the input signal in real time, transforming it into completely new synthetic textures. Even the most basic waveforms instantly become rich sounds with great density and character.

Almost all of Turbulence’s parameters are animated by an extremely flexible sequencer with each of its 32 steps having individual transformer model, curve, modulation envelope – allowing easy creation of complex, lively rhythmic soundscapes. Turbulence can also store eight full snapshots of itself within a single preset, letting you switch them during performance or via host automation.

Turbulence for Mac (AU) is available for purchase for $29 USD. To celebrate the release of Turbulence 2.0, Sinevibes is also running a sale. Until July 3rd, 2014, all of its products and bundles are available with 15% discount.

Sinevibes releases Flow flanger AU plugin

Related: , , , , Posted in news on Jun 02, 2014 - comment 0 comments

Sinevibes has announced the release of Flow, an animated flanger effect plug-in for Mac.

Sinevibes Flow

Flow is a flanger that goes far beyond traditional – instead of simple up-and-down sweeps, it employs a sophisticated envelope sequencer to modulate the sound in a rhythmical fashion. Flow has two different flanger characters with positive or negative feedback, advanced synchronisation and timing features, plus a host of automation and randomisation options. All this combined allows you to create a myriad of unique effects: from intricate “jet plane” patterns and dancing comb filtering to complex swooshes or stuttered glitches. Plus, each instance of Flow stores eight snapshots of itself that can be switched in realtime or via automation.

As always with Sinevibes products, Flow has a clean, colour-coded user interface with a near-zero learning curve. It is built entirely using Apple’s Core Animation framework – so not only it offers organic, lively animations, it also uses your Mac’s graphics processor letting the central one concentrate solely on audio processing. This makes Flow both productive and utterly joyful.

Flow features

  • Flanger with positive/negative feedback, adjustable time range from 0.5 to 20 ms.
  • Step sequencer with up to 32 steps, variable speed, timing and shuffle.
  • Flanger gate, flanger time, envelope modulation depth, and envelope shape individual per each sequencer step.
  • Eight full instance snapshots, multiple utility and randomisation functions.
  • Advanced transport sync algorithm with support for tempo and time signature automation.

Flow is available for purchase for $29 USD, or with a 50% discount as part of the Sinevibes complete plugin collection bundle.

Sinevibes has announced the release of Octagon, a spectral delay effect plug-in for Mac.

Sinevibes Octagon

Octagon splits the audio into eight frequency bands, each having its own dedicated delay line.

Delay time, feedback, pan, playback direction and other parameters can be set individually per band, allowing to selectively apply delay effects onto different parts of the sound spectrum.

For even more animation, Octagon has three tempo-synchronised modulators with a myriad of waveforms and modulation destinations.

Octagon features

  • Eight tempo-synchronised delay lines with normal and reverse playback.
  • Eight resonant band-pass filters at -12 or -24 dB/octave.
  • Three tempo-synchronised modulators with 8 waveforms, adjustable chaos, 24 total modulation destinations.

Octagon for Mac (AU) is available for $39 USD.

Sinevibes has also launched a special sale to celebrate its 16th plugin release.

For 16 days (10th to 26th April), all of Sinevibes products are available with a 16% discount. The complete collection of Sinevibes plugins is available for $200 (full price: $239).

Sinevibes Hexonator
Hexonator offers an incredibly simple, lightweight yet attractive user interface.

Hexonator is built upon six melodically tuned resonators which isolate and emphasise matching frequency components in the incoming signal. With its chord sequencer, it makes it possible to “play” these resonators musically, producing fresh synthetic sounds that are full of life and character.
