Sinevibes has released 90803, a free groovebox-style sound expansion for Roland Fantom-G.

Sinevibes is pleased to announced 90803, a special sound expansion that instantly turns Roland Fantom-G into an extremely addictive groovebox.

It combines bassline sounds of the legendary Roland TB-303 with drum beats of the TR-808 and TR-909 machines, which back in the day defined many of today’s dance and club music styles.

Sinevibes has announced Roland synthesizer training courses to be held in Hamburg in summer 2010.

It is a great opportunity for all Roland musicians who really want to be unique and sound like no one else. Each course will include 4 days of interactive lectures and practical studies on sound design and music production, guiding the students from all the basics to the latest and most exciting tricks and techniques.

Personal consulting for each student will also be provided, extending the scope of the courses according to your own interests.

After taking one of our Roland courses, you will:

• Discover the full potential of your gear
• Start creating your very own, original sounds and music
• Learn how to make your tracks sound polished and complete
• Get loads of fresh ideas and never-ending inspiration
• Avoid spending money on more and more equipment

The conference room is located in Hamburg, Germany (Ibis Hotel Alster Centrum), which is very easy to reach from most places in Europe. All courses will be conducted in English.

The available courses and dates are as follows:

• 22-25 June (Roland Fantom-S, Fantom-X series and JUNO-G)

Each course will cost 399 EUR, including 4 days of interactive lectures and practical studies, as well as coffee breaks and full three-meal lunch daily. Sinevibes has released version 1.3.0 of Gateboy, an advanced gate effect plug-in for Mac.

Sinevibes is happy to announce the new version of it’s popular Gateboy rhythmic modulation AudioUnit plug-in, which now gives even more possibilities to musicians seeking a very easy-to-use, yet highly flexible tool for slicing beats, creating complex riffs and trancegate effects, adding gentle motion or swing, and much more.

Changes in Gateboy v1.3.0

• New triplets timing allows to work with an even wider range of rhythms and time signatures.
• Improved host synchronization algorithm gives more stability, especially in live performance software, while also reducing processor load of the plug-in.
• As per feedback from existing users, more useful preset patterns have been added, bringing the total to 70.
• The user interface graphics have also been polished for better usability.

Sinevibes has announced the release of Planet A and Planet R, two new sound expansions for Roland Fantom-S and Fantom-X.

This is good news for those who own one of these instruments – even though all of them have been discontinued, you can still refresh your musical palette with latest sounds.

Planet A / Planet R features

• Planet A is made especially for those who seek massive, punchy and warm analog sounds. It features totally clean and unprocessed analog bass, synth, lead and pad sounds, as well as extra loops and effects, all sampled at high resolution. Contents: 337 original samples, 25 multisampled instruments, 30 patches.
• Planet R features sounds made with some of the most amazing hardware and software synthesizers available today. Unique synths, bells, basses, pads, atmospheres, hits and chords, vocal, vocoder and choir sounds will fit into any modern music production, from club and urban to ambient and film scoring. Contents: 524 original samples, 47 multisampled instruments, 70 patches.
• Both expansions are compatible with Fantom-S/S88, Fantom-X6/7/8,Fantom-Xa and Fantom-XR synthesizers, and require min. 128 MB of sample RAM and storage flash memory.
