Softrave has announced that its Techno Snare virtual snare instrument for Windows is now freeware.

Techno Snare is a virtual instrument with 512 techno snare sounds in 4 banks. The user can filter high frequencies of any bank and mix sounds together to create different snare sounds.

The plug-in was designed to put analog sounds together to save time for creativity and to have easy access the best selection of snares, essential for techno production.

Softrave has announced the Harmonium Pro, a virtual harmonium instrument for Windows.

Harmonium Pro VSTi is based on samples of real Harmonium Organ from 19th century recorded with different position of overtones switches. We also added Analog drift control to add analog touch to samples or to create new vibrato effects.

Samples are looped so you can play infinite notes on keyboard without need to pump air with your legs like in original mechanical instrument.

Softrave has released Kalimba, a virtual percussion instrument for Windows.

Kalimba VSTi is based on samples of real African percussion instrument made of steel called Kalimba. It has 6 layers of velocity so you can feel some natural sound of kalimba out of your speakers.

We also added Analog drift control to add analog touch to samples or to create new vibrato effects. Original notes that were sampled are in diapasone D3 – F5. Lower and higher note sounds less realistic but still useful.

Kalimba VSTi is available to purchase for 11 EUR / $15 USD.

Softrave has released the Octave Cat SRM sample library containing sounds of the unique Cat analog vintage synthesizer by Octave.

This library represents 1,5 hours of recording 500 MB of mono 16 bit flow of noise effects weird bleeps basses and sequences. Chemical Brothers use this synth in many albums

I did not make any loops, special melodies sample banks or any improvements. You are welcome to do that by yourself in a way it firs your sampler or DAW. I think you can find at least 1000 really cool analog sounds , loops & special effects in this recording

Steeldrum is based on samples of real percussion instrument made of steel called Steeldrum (Steelpan). It has 8 layers of velocity so you can hear some natural sound of Steeldrum out of your speakers or create new unique vibrating overtones.
