Sonic Sidekick Extreme Drumsynth

Sonic Sidekick has released version 1.6.1 of Extreme Drumsynth, a virtual drum synthesizer instrument for Windows.

Extreme Drumsynth is a VST Drum machine where you can create dynamic drum patterns using fully synthesized drum kits. It contains a drum synthesizer and a step sequencer. The sequencer can trigger the built in sounds or send midi output to other drum plugins.

Changes in Extreme Drumsynth v1.6.1

  • Added a step sequencer with many ways to randomly vary patterns.
  • Added mute/solo controls for each pad.
  • Added sound blending – 4 different sounds on each pad.
  • Updated patch randomization, now with an evolutionary mode.
  • Added 300 pattern presets.

Sonic Sidekick has released version 1.4.0 of Extreme Drumsynth, a virtual drum synthesizer plug-in for Windows.

Extreme Drumsynth is a VST Plugin for creating fully synthesized drum kits that sound real.

With Extreme Drumsynth, you create sounds using a combination of additive, subtractive, and wavetable synthesis. This creates a complex set of modes which you can shape using a flexible band pass filter and combine with filtered noise.

Changes in Extreme Drumsynth v1.4.0

  • Frequency range extended from 60-17k to 30-20k.
  • Added ability to load/save presets from the plug-in.
  • Can oversample or undersample each pad independently.
  • Added 3 more realistic kits (metal kit, dry kit, punchy kit).
