Sonimus has announced Sweetone, an equalizer effect plug-in for Windows and Mac.

Sweetone is a simple, yet powerful equalizer which combines both modern and vintage EQ characteristics to faithfully emulate analog equalizer curves. Sweetone’s preamp section is carefully modeled to lend gentle color and warmth to your digital mixes.

Sweetone has a Tilux tone mode inspired by a single analog unit, which has been further fine-tuned with algorithmic modifications, and a Loud mode which represents a synthesis of the best features of three select pieces of analog gear.

Sonimus Satson 1.2 comes with a new VU meter valistic.

Designed to emulate a console-based workflow (including metering, saturation, stereo crosstalk, and trim), Satson will help you mix faster and better.

Our Satson plugin features a carefully modeled and calibrated VU meter, high quality high-pass / low-pass filters, and analog console-like saturation (including stereo crosstalk).

Sonimus has released Satson, a plugin designed to emulate the workflow of the consoles on your computer and get better and fastest mixes.

It has a VU meter carefully modelled and calibrated, high quality high-pass / low-pass filters and analog console like saturation (includes stereo crosstalk).

Satson features

• Get better mixes with VU Meters which help to level the tracks to get an ideal headroom (you can set the VU 0VU = -18 dBfs or 0VU = -14 dBfs) and you can use the GAIN control like a trim (NOTE: More GAIN more saturation).
• Take advantage of the high quality filters, these are sweet and pleasant to the ear.
• Saturation is based on two high-end analog consoles giving warmth and “glue” to the tracks and busses. It has two modes “FAT off” (subtle distortion, high dynamic range) and “FAT on” (more hot and less dynamic range).
• Satson Buss has Stereo Crosstalk, this gives depth/3D feel (can be disabled).

Sonimus has released version 1.1 of SonEQ, a free equalizer effect plug-in modeled from two analog equalizers.

• New GUI.
• Mac AU / VST versions added.
• Fixed CPU usage problem on some processors.
• Band gain now shows dB instead of Hz.
• The “VU Meter” is softer, and some host-specific bugs were fixed.
