iZotope has announced it has licensed a suite of audio repair and restoration tools for the debut of Sound Forge Pro Mac, Sony’s Professional Digital Audio Editor.
Built on a clean slate for OS X, Sound Forge Pro Mac provides a contemporary application environment that’s perfect for recording, editing, processing, and rendering broadcast-quality audio master files.
“Sony was looking for highly innovative, easy-to use technology to raise the bar,” says Alex Westner, Director of Business Development for iZotope, Inc. “We’re proud to be a part of the long-awaited release of Sound Forge Pro Mac.” Sound Forge Pro Mac includes three algorithms to solve common audio problems: iZotope’s DeClicker, DeNoiser, and DeClipper. These professional sound repair tools allow quick results directly in the Sound Forge interface. The inclusion of additional iZotope technology in Sound Forge’s Mac version is a perfect complement to the iZotope Mastering Effects Bundle, found already in Sound Forge Pro for PC since 2007.
“These new audio repair plug-ins are versatile, easy-to-use, and work like magic in a wide variety of situations,” says Dave Chaimson, vice president of global marketing for Sony Creative Software. “For more than a decade, audio professionals have turned to Sound Forge software for recording and editing, and we’re pleased to bring iZotope’s acclaimed tools into the mix.”
Sound Forge Pro Mac software, including audio repair algorithms and mastering effects powered by iZotope, is now available worldwide through software stores and online retailers for an MSRP of $299.95 USD.
Sony Creative Software has announced the release of Sound Forge Pro Mac, the newest addition to its line of award-winning audio and video production software products.
Sony’s popular Sound Forge Pro audio editor is now available for Mac OS X.
A multichannel audio recording and editing application, Sound Forge Pro Mac software was developed from the ground up on a clean slate for OS X and features an elegant interface that redefines the audio editing experience. The application ships with a full suite of audio mastering and repair plug-ins, making it a comprehensive solution for audio professionals who work on the Mac platform.
“People who work on audio editing platforms recognize the need for a fresh option in the marketplace, one that’s built for OS X as opposed to something that’s simply been ported over. In addition, it’s no secret that cross-platform professionals have been demanding Sound Forge for the Mac for years,” said Dave Chaimson, vice president of global marketing for Sony Creative Software. “Our response is Sound Forge Pro Mac, a truly contemporary OS X design. Producers will appreciate its simple elegance, uncluttered look and amazing flexibility. The included suite of mastering and repair plug-ins makes this 1.0 edition a value-packed editing powerhouse right out of the box. Sony Creative Software has announced DJ Puzzle: Dubstep Complete, a massive dubstep construction kit created by veteran producer Jason Donnelly.
Jason grew up in the music stores of Chicago and built his skills tweaking up dozens of Sound Series titles during the ‘00s, before moving on to release more than 30,000 of his own loops and samples to the masses. Now he’s in Los Angeles making tracks for TV and film, but the urban grit survives in Dubstep Complete — a Premium Collection title that covers every aspect of the dubstep genre.
Dubstep Complete features extreme, hard-hitting basses with perfect distortion and killer bends, all the layerable rhythm elements you need to make great beats, atmospheres and arpeggios that make it easy to evolve deep tracks, and more — all in the context of six expansive construction kits and a bonus folder full of useful transition FX. Dubby, clubby, dark and growly, DJ Puzzle: Dubstep Complete brings royalty-free dubstep to your desktop in 24-bit Premium Collection sound, ready for exploitation in ACID software and any platform that supports the .wav file format.
The sample library is available to purchase for $69.95 USD.
Sony Creative Software has released Cleanroom Electronica, a new sample library by Jeremy Goldstain of EVAC.
When Quadrant 5 Studios entered the Sony Sound Series catalog with Austerity Measures (2010) we knew this was only the beginning — libraries of this caliber always leave a thirst for more, and the process of creating it left producer Jeremy Goldstein with a substantial backlog of unexpressed ideas. These ideas are now made manifest on cleanroom electronica, a collection of sounds that raise Quadrant 5 to the Premium Collection tier in a spiraling assortment of loops and one shots that strike a perfect balance between synthetic and organic elements, structured and open-ended concepts, readymade music and isolated fragments, sustained moments and granular fragments.
A complete construction kit for building smooth and sophisticated electronica tracks, cleanroom electronica can flex and adapt to your changing working methods — produce complete pieces quickly using Quadrant 5 motifs, or go deep and explore electronica at the micro level to achieve truly unique results. With nearly one thousand royalty free sounds couched in just under a gigabyte of data, Sony invites you to enter the cleanroom at Quadrant 5 — a place where the next great idea is just a mouse click away.
Sony Creative Software has released Austerity Measures: Electronica by EVAC, a new sample pack by Jeremy Goldstein (EVAC) at Quadrant 5 Studios/Haptic Audio.
Featuring IDM, electro, and ambient flavors, Austerity Measures: Electronica by EVAC is a complete construction kit informed by the best electronica of the last two decades.
The keen listener will detect the aroma of early Warp-era classics — clean, cold lines played on warm-sounding synths, hirsute sonics and spiderweb intrigue, drones, ‘scapes and background noises, and the watermarks of all the most sophisticated electronica of that time. But waxing nostalgic for a second is only a short phase of the creative process, a stepping stone to quickening your own creative pulse using all the royalty free loops and samples contained in this very satisfying collection of nearly 700 royalty-free sounds.
Created by award-winning producer Jeremy Goldstein at his own Quadrant 5 Studios, Austerity Measures is a great production tool for making music ranging from pared-down electronic joyrides, to soundtracks for nearly any kind of media presentation.
Austerity Measures: Electronica by EVAC is available to purchase for $39.95 USD.
