Soundcells has released Pads – the BIG box, a ReFill bundling three Mystic Dream Pads releases.

This ReFill contains all patches from Soundcells` three Mystic Dream Pads – 2, 4 and 5 – in ONE really big ReFill with 32 new combinator patches that have not been released before – and all this at a sharp “bundle”-price.

All patches were revised to match perfectly together. This ReFill gives you all you need when searching for atmospheric patches, conventional pads – bright or dark, inspiring soundscapes, rhytmical pads, fx & experimental sounds and more… The variety of sonic atmospheres coming from three original ReFills makes this collection very complete so chances are big that you´ll find what you are looking for while browsing for the right pad.

Soundcells has released Simple Sampling, a free ReFill for Reason.

At first we started working on a fun refill based on a Stylophone we recorded for sampling purposes. So we started sampling this little toy note by note. Besides programming a patch that matches the real thing we also tweaked the nnxt to go some extra steps. Some fat funky clavinet-style patches caught us by surprise.

While producing a first mini track (apart from the loop it’s entirely based on stylophone samples) we added some extra cool stuff to this refill: a “single-sample-rhodes”, a “single-sample-piano”, a “single-sample-kalimba” and some other nifty stuff…”Simple Sampling” – the name speaks for itself!

Simple Sampling features

• 25 combinator patches mainly based on Stylophone samples, a Rhodes-like patch that really feels great while playing the keys, mouth watering atmospheric content and some retro oriented surprises.
• A note by note (a2 – e4) sampled and looped Stylophone including it´s typical release click.
• “Simple Samples” coming from the Rhodes Mark 1, Doepfer MS404, a mini kalimba, a piano, a bassoon…
• 10 Rex loops.

Soundcells has released version 2 of Analog Signature, a ReFill for Reason 4.

“Analog Signature V2″ carries the wits and powers of three vintage beasts into this new era. Moog Source, Korg MS20 and the Waldorf Microwave have been accurately sampled (every single note three times) in such a way that their charming inaccuracies are still there in this perfect Reason environment in which we took our chance to add polyphony and velocity.

You’ll get 460 combinator patches containing beautiful analog sounds from the past as well as some mouth watering rex loops covering the old analog drum boxes. You decide how retro or contemporary the sounds of this refill will sound in your music. It all matches almost perfectly with almost everything.

Version 2 adds new samples from the Waldorf Microwave 1, 40 new combinator patches, great new backdrops and some minor tweaks.

Soundcells has released version 2 of Thor Source, a ReFill inspired by Moog’s Source synthesizer.

Version 2 adds the meticulously sampled Moog Source waves from our “Analog Signature” refill and we also added two new ones. Besides this there are 22 new combinator patches based on these additions, a few new rexloops, some minor tweaks and new backdrops.

Thor Source features

• The 25 original documentary patches as described above plus 25 contemporary velocity versions of these patches.
• 25 legato versions of the documentary patches, and also 25 legato versions of the contemporary velocity patches.
• 67 “processed” combinator patches making full use of Reason’s devices like the RV7000, the Scream and other gear. This folder is subdivided into 4 sections: bass, keys & leads, misc and pads.
• 22 combinator patches based on the sampled, original Source waves that were added to version 2.
• 35 new and grooving rex loops.
