The Unfinished has announced the release of Omnisphere Horizon, a sound library for Omnisphere by Spectrasonics.
Aimed at hybrid cinematic underscore and deep, emotional electronica, it will fit right into your latest film/tv/game score or EDM album.
There are 128 patches, featuring deep, modulating basslines; evocative and dynamic synth sequences; dramatic and blissful soundscapes; hard-hitting, punchy synth basses; and many other expressive and essential sounds.
Omnisphere Horizon provides you with a deep and flexible, cinematic sound canvas. Whether you’re writing minimalist underscore in the shadow of Harry Gregson-Williams and Sean Callery, or intense electronica in the vein of BT and Jon Hopkins, you are bound to find a huge amount of inspiration in this soundset.
Omnisphere Horizon costs £19.99 GBP. A pack of free sounds is available to ‘try before you buy’.

Plughugger has announced JP8K Legends, a sound expansion of 150 new sounds for the Spectrasonics Omnisphere aimed for modern dance music.
Few synthesizers had such an impact on modern dance music as the Roland JP-8000, which was the first synthesizer that introduced the Supersaw waveform.
The soundset is divided into two parts. The first part is a collection of 100 presets all using the JP-8000 oscillators in Omnisphere – which quickly turned into a real challenge, since Omnisphere only contain two different flavor of the JP-8000: one typical Supersaw and one darkish string-sound. Thanks to the flexible sound bending capabilities in Omnisphere we twisted and turned the oscillators until we had 100 arpeggios, basses, plucks and pads.
For the second part of the soundset – we took 50 of our favorite presets and changed the JP-8000 samples into the excellent virtual analog oscillators in Omnisphere.
The soundset is available to purchase for 9.90 EUR.

Mulperi has announced Mulperi Electro Essentials, a soundset for the Omnisphere synthesizer by Spectrasonics.
My new and first commercial soundbank is now released. It is a Omnisphere soundbank that contains 100 patches and is focused on “bread and butter” sounds.
Most of all I tried to create musical, good sounding basic sounds that I could actually use myself on variety of electronic music sub-genres. Patches use only Omnisphere synth engine, no samples.
The soundset is available for the introductory price of 7 EUR / $9 USD through November 17th, 2012 (regular 11 EUR / $15 USD).
