Smash Up The Studio has released Cool Keys RnB 3, a collection of keyboard loops, performed by a top pro keyboard player Steve Burton.
As with all Smash Up The Studio products most loops are complete musical chord progressions on which you can build your track. Whether using the MIDI loops and your own instrument plug ins, or the Wav’s, which were created using a wide range of classic synthesizers and professionally programmed.
Also included are the 5 construction kits you hear in our preview track, all the sounds are included as separate samples, so you can build each track to your own requirements. The drums are purely for demonstration purposes and are not included.
The loops range in tempo between 65 and 130 bpm and have been recorded as 24 bit Wav’s and Apple Loops. The MIDI files are also included for those producers who like to experiment with their own sounds and personalise the loops to their own taste.
All in all, a fantastic resource for both producers and songwriters alike. Whether a novice or a pro this pack will take your tracks to a higher musical level.

Equinox Sounds has announced the release of MIDI Keys: Soul Machine, a downloadable collection from Smash Up The Studio.
In producing ‘Soul Machine’ Smash Up The Studio has tried as accurately as possible to re-create those wonderful chords and classic grooves for the modern day producer, so if you are looking for a more musical collection of Soul/RnB loops, this is the real deal.
Featuring bass lines, piano loops, rhodes loops, MIDI guitar loops for acoustic and electric styles, and synth loops in various styles including bendy moogs, funky polyphonic hooks and floaty/ambient style progressions. You’ll find 80 MIDI loops ranging from 2 – 16 bars in length.

Equinox Sounds has announced the release of Club Grooves: Urban Guitars, a collection featuring guitar loops for Hip Hop, R&B and Pop by Smash Up The Studio.
We teamed up with session guitarist “Mook” Hands and his old Gibson Les Paul Custom (wine red) The amplifiers used on the sessions were a Fender 65 Twin Reverb and a Marshall MA50C. These were recorded using two SM57 microphones.
Other equipment included a Cry Baby wah wah and MXR analog delay pedal. Some loops have also been treated with some post stereo effects at the mixing stage.
