Organic Loops has launched Real Strings Vol. 5 – Uplifting Cinematic, a collection of string loops by Pete Whitfield.

Pete Whitfield is back with a fresh set of Real String loops featuring Uplifting Cinematic arrangements capable of adding drama and suspense into any musical production. These authentic string samples by Organic Loops were recorded in Pete’s studio where he regularly records Real Strings for major labels, TV companies and radio/media companies.

Not only does this collection boast inspiring soaring melodies, rhythmical stabs, heart wrenching and uplifting chord progressions, it delivers full string loops with breath-taking, epic results that you couldn’t possibly recreate. Along with these massive resonating sounds, there are stripped-back versions giving you the option to mix and match for what is suitable for your production.

In detail expect 1.47 GB of 24Bit loops ranging from 120-130 beats per minute, there are 640 Wav loops arranged into 10 separate Uplifting sequences with both full mix ensembles and stripped down instrument loops for maximum flexibility. Also included in the pack are a set of compatible Piano Chord loops and all the scores in MIDI, PDF and Sibelus format for those who want to dig even deeper.

Spitfire Audio has announced the release of Sable Volume 2, a string library for Native Instruments Kontakt.

Spitfire are delighted to release the hotly anticipated second volume in our detailed new String library. Volume 2 contains the Violin 2 section (providing you with a smaller totally different group of violinists, sat in a different position to give you a true orchestral spread), Viola and Bass sections, and between volumes 1 and 2 you have an incredibly beautiful and dynamic, responsive collection of players.

Each section is fully controllable individually, and is recorded with 7 mic positions, through rare and classic mics in one of the greatest recording studios in the world, through Neve ‘Montserrat’ mic pres and then on through the Neve 88R onto tape, and finally through Prism converters into Protools at 96k. We present the library in Kontakt 4.2.4 and higher format (FULL VERSION OF KONTAKT REQUIRED) at 48k, 24bit.

Organic Loops has launched Strings Ultimate Collection Series 1, the first in a new series of high quality string solo and ensemble loops by Frontline Producer.

For the last few weeks here at Frontline Towers, we have been perfectly attired in our white tie and tails, turning imaginary sheet music, randomly tapping batons (pens, pencils, drumsticks) on imaginary podiums (books, radiators, colleagues heads etc.) and generally walking around with an uncommon air of gravitas and distinction.
