Swar Systems has announced the release of SwarPlug 3, bringing AAX format support and compatibility with Pro Tools 11 to the Indian virtual instruments synthesizer.

We are very excited to announce the release of the latest version of our Indian virtual instruments plugin. SwarPlug now runs natively on 64 bits hosts, and is fully compatible with Pro Tools 11 (AAX). But this is not all; we have also embedded the Librarian directly in the plugin so you can now audition your loops in sync with the DAW and then simply drag & drop them on your tracks!

Swar Systems has released version 2.0 of Swar Studio, including enhanced/new sound engines, new MIDI/audio loops, an audio editor, a completely rewritten user manual and more.

Swar Studio is the first sequencer primarily aimed at music from India, whether modern or ancient. It includes both Indian and Western virtual instruments to allow you to create your favourite songs from the film or classical repertoire without the need of any additional tool.

With Swar Studio, you’ll be able to reproduce your favorite Bollywood hits of the past or present days, and/or create your own personal songs for a fraction of the price of setting up an expensive home studio.

Changes in Swar Studio v2.0

  • New and enhanced instruments: We have gone through a serious rework of most of our instruments. We have also added 5 new ones: Dulcimer, Whistle, Slow Strings, Lead Synth and Synth Pad.
  • New MIDI and audio loops: We have also reworked the Library loops. You now have a large collection of drums, guitar and bass loops, as well as some very nice Indian vocal samples.
  • New audio editor: We have also included an audio editor, so that you can do the basic editing of your recordings or dropped loops directly in the software.
  • Enhanced user manual: The user manual was completely rewritten to make it very comprehensive and clear.
  • Full Undo/Redo functionality: You now have the comfort of undo/redo functionality everywhere in the program, so that you can undo any change you did by mistake.
  • MP3 export: You can now export your songs in MP3 format. You’ll just need to download a valid MP3 encoder, for licensing issues.

Swar Systems has announced the release of SwarGroove, a virtual drum instrument for Windows and Mac.

SwarGroove is a new VST/AU multi-tracks Indian drums plugin that lets you add Indian drums ensembles to your compositions and live performances. It comes with various traditional/folk styles from different parts of India like Garba, Qawwali, Ghazal, Bhangra, etc…

Swar Systems releases Volume 4

Swar Volume 4

Swar Systems has released Volume 4, a sample collection of Indian instruments for use with Swar products.

Volume 4 is our latest addition of rare instruments from all regions of India. Some of them are very difficult to find nowadays.

Volume 4 adds 25 new instruments:

  • Strings: Rabab, Mandolin, Tenor Banjo, Ravanhattha, Surbahar, Violin, Ektara, Swarmandal.
  • Percussion: Khuang, Halgi, Pung, Manipuri Dhol, Nishan, Bihu Dhol, Daphli, Khartaal, Eddaka, Khol, Bells.
  • Wind: Surnaii, Tutari, Pepa, Been, Algozay, Harmonium 3.

Volume 4 brings the number of instruments included in the Swar Systems products to 74. This volume can also be purchased as an add-on for $40 USD.
