Synth Magic has launched Vector X, a virtual instrument for Native Instruments Kontakt, featuring the sounds of the Sequential Circuits Prophet VS digital synthesizer.
1.6GB of wav samples compressed using NI’s compression and lots of presets included to get you started on your sonic experiments with Vector X.
The Prophet VS is a vector synthesiser and uses samples of waveforms as it’s osc’s – These are then routed through traditional analogue filters etc.
The sound of a VS is different from the usual analogue polysynths of that era and is used by lots of film score composers.
Synth Magic Vector X for Native Instruments Kontakt (GUI by saintjohnbaxter).
Vector X features
Includes the VS choir and Filmscore sounds, gritty synth sounds, smooth organs, 5th stacks, analogue waveforms, abstract tones etc, all easily auditioned using the vector x waveform browser.
Easy to use interface which allows for quick and easy access to all waveforms, an arpeggiator, full effects section, mono modes and full modulation section with lots of controls for expression and controlling lfo’s with aftertouch etc.
Two vector layers with vector blend control and new custom sample select system.
Includes lots of presets.
Small memory foot print (direct streaming).
Vector X for Kontakt is available to purchase for the introductory price of £20 GBP (regular £29.95 GBP).
This update takes the original 3 layer system of Phobos and expands it with a much larger sample library, updated Filter/Res sequencer which can now store patterns as well as switch voice selection on and off within each sequence, the effects sections has also been updated and there is also a new graphical user interface by Anders Hedstrom aka Flavours of Lime.
Over 150 presets included to get you going on your interstellar trip.
From ambient spacey alien communications, distant drones, spacey choirs, haunting strings and pads, atmospherics, space organs, Jungle stabs/ progressive house stabs and atmospheres.
The sound library is available for the introductory price of £10 GBP (regular £19.99 GBP).
Tronsonic and Synthmagic have announced the release of System1000M, a modular style synthesizer for Native Instruments Kontakt.
This is based on a famous Japanese modular, with a few alternative features. Plenty of modulation possibilities, its great fun to use. Steve and I have streamlined the instrument to make it as cpu efficient as possible – it handles very well in fact.
There’s an arpeggiator, with 2 ‘interval’ sections, allowing some very interesting patterns to be made. Most of the tracks in the video were made with pressing one or two keys of a multi-mode preset.
There is a dual polarity Keytrack function assigned to the mod-wheel. This acts as a great alternative to filter cutoff, as it is pitch specific.
Over 275 presets.
From raucous laboratory experiments, acid house and techno to serene radiophonic bliss-scapes.
Optional new ‘add-on’ banks and presets (coming soon).
Sampled with vintage valve equipment to quarter inch tape for maximum analogue texture.
The sample library is available to purchase for the introductory price of £14.99 GBP until May 20th, 2013. Requires Kontakt 5.1.0 full version.
Synth Magic has released Zom Zom, a sound library for Native Instruments Kontakt featuring the sounds of the Polymoog 280a synthesizer.
The Zom Zom library for Kontakt features front panels designed by Anders Hedstrom (Flavours of Lime).
Zom Zom is a Kontakt instrument that will give you all the great sounds of the Moog polymoog 280a analogue synthesiser and more thanks to all the extra features.
All the classic sounds from this iconic synth have been reproduced and are easily selected from the front panel of the extensively scripted GUI. Every sound including VAR (variation) modes have been reproduced.
The Zom Zom sound library for Kontakt costs £29.95 GBP.
Synth Magic has released Sounds of the Delta, a sample library for Native Instrument Kontakt featuring the Korg Delta DL-50 analog synthesizer.
The Sounds of the Delta GUI for Kontakt, designed by Flavours of Lime.
Sounds of the Delta is a sample library of the Korg Delta Synthesiser. It also has all the raw oscillator samples which can be controlled in the same way as a real Delta.
The gorgeous analogue strings have also been sampled and when used in conjunction with the Delta sample library and raw osc’s gives a lovely synth stack of sounds. All samples are placed under the control of an intuitive graphical user interface and each section (Delta library, Raw Osc’s and strings) all exist in the same .nki file for convenience.
No messing around with loading different sections, or having to adjust Kontakt behind the scenes-Access the whole instrument from the same GUI. Loads of extra features added such as 9 LFO’s, Pitch envelopes, filter envelopes, Highpass and band pass filters etc. Has a full effects section which includes over 50 Impulse responses from classic reverbs such as Ursa Major Space Station. Also has a sixteen step analogue style sequencer.
The sample library is available to purchase for the introductory price of £17.95 GBP for a limited time (regular £24.95 GBP).
Synth Magic has introduced Zed80 Volume 2, a sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt, featuring sounds sampled from various 80′s samplers and 80′s synths.
In creating this slection of sounds I wanted to provide an instrument that will have a wide range of sounds that will hopefully come in usefull in various studio situations. Some users of Zed Volume 1 have stated it has come in very handy in some studio sessions and a sound contained has rescued a session.
Over 1.5GB of samples compressed to just over a GB using NI’s compression and well over 200 presets ready for your musical productions or tweek away using the graphical user interface.
The libraries of Vol1 and Vol2 do have a lower fi vibe to them due to the nature of the older samplers some of the sounds have come from. I think it is true older samplers do have a certain magic to them and vibe.
The sample library is available to purchase for £14.95 GBP. Requires full version of Native Instruments Kontakt 4 or 5.
Synth Magic has released FZed, a sample library for Native Intruments Kontakt.
This Kontakt instrument uses sounds sampled into a Casio FZ-1 sampler and the sounds have lots of great vibe to them.
Just under 1GB of sounds and 200 presets ready for your musical productions or tweek away using the graphical user interface.
I have been a user of the FZ-1 for many years and love the way it adds ‘that something’ to anything sampled into it. The Sound sources are from various vintage synths and drum machines/drum synths which have been sampled into the Casio FZ-1 which has imparted it’s own sonic stamp on the samples.
The sounds have been passed through the lovely analogue filter of the FZ1 (Popular misconception that the FZ-1 filter is digital, it’s not, it is a digitaly controlled analogue filter and sounds great).
The output from the FZ-1 was then connected to a series of vintage valve pre-amps before sampling for use in Kontakt.
The FZed sample library is available to purchase for the introductory price of £8.95 GBP.
