Krog synth2

Tronsonic has set free the Krog synthe2, a preset from an early 70s Japanese preset monosynth.

Contains one set of samples with 20 patches/ 5 multis for kontakt 4.2.2, and 25 patches for esx24 44khz/24 bit

These samples are unlooped – just a single preset recorded to worn tape. All of the sounds in the demo are made from some of the supplied patches – lots more synthesis possibilities ,and sounds great layered with other varieties of synth, such as the waveform72 or logandy.

Tronsonic releases Organatron M100

Tronsonic Organatron M100

Tronsonic has released the Organatron M100, a sample library featuring sounds from the Hammond M100.

All 9 drawbars, bass pedals and percussion harmonics from the legendary prog organ – the Hammond m100. As used by Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and many other greats from the late 60s and early 70s.

Sampled to worn tape on vintage valve equipment, with complete control over each drawbar via midi – in other words, if you have a midi keyboard with 9 faders you have a Hammond! If that keyboard also has 8 assignable knobs then with the Kontakt instruments you can have control over leslie, reverb/delay, vibrato, and even ADSR envelopes should you feel creative. Designed to evoke the magic of late 60s/early 70s music, it also adds great character to contemporary music, and really comes to life when re-amped through an amp, or even better, a real leslie speaker.

Organatron M100 for Kontakt (compatible with ESX24, NNXT and Structure) is available to purchase for the introductory price of £9.99 GBP for registered users until December 31, 2011 (registration is free).

Tronsonic releases Dark Horse sample library

Tronsonic has released Dark Horse, a sample library with sounds from the Kawai 100-F synthesizer.

Tronsonic Dark Horse

This analogue monosynth from 1980 wasn’t everyones cup of tea. Great for sci-fi effects but perhaps not the sweetest lead sounds.

With this pack, both the sawtooth and square waves (as well as white noise) have been sampled to tape in their pure form (ie no filter/modulation etc). Now you have the ability to playback this ‘mellotronized’ monosynth with full polyphony – and here is where the magic begins! A truly unique analogue/digital hybrid synth has been born…the Dark Horse…

Dark Horse includes 350 preset patches (175 for Kontakt 4.2.2 and 175 for EXS24). The library is available to purchase for £15.99 GBP.

Tronsonic releases Progressive Clavi D6

Tronsonic Progressive Clavi D6

Tronsonic has released Progressive Clavi D6, two sets of samples from the classic clavinet, with the emphasis on exploring new sonic possibilities from this string based keyboard.

Sampled through 60′s valve preamps to worn tape to 44khz/24 bit – no eq/compression etc.

Distortion and Wah plus external amps turn this into a beast!

I’ve created a few unexpected patches, to demonstrate the scope of the clavinet as a different type of synthesizable sound source. (All samples unlooped)

Progressive Clavi D6 for Kontakt and EXS24 is available to purchase for £7.99 GBP.

Tronsonic releases Rhodetron Seventy Three for Kontakt and EXS24

Tronsonic Rhodetron Seventy Three

Tronsonic has announced the release of Rhodetron Seventy Three, a sample library featuring the sounds of a Rhodes Mark I stage piano.

Sampled through 60′s valve preamps to worn tape to 44khz/24 bit – no eq/compression etc. This set of samples loves distortion!

The kontakt demos use their built-in effects, but the esx24 demo utilizes effects from TAL – they’re currently free, and very nice.  I’ve created a few unexpected patches, to demonstrate the scope of the rhodes as a different type of synthesizable sound source.

Rhodetron Seventy Three is available to purchase for £5.99 GBP.

Tronsonic releases Waveform 72 sample library

Tronsonic Waveform 72

Tronsonic has released Waveform 72, a sound library for Kontakt and ESX24.

Waveform 72 derives from the front end of a famous 70′s monosynth – all 7 waveforms from the oscillators plus pink and white noise ‘mellotronized’ onto tape by being recorded to a 1965 valve reel to reel using aged/worn tape to emulate the evocative sound of the mellotron.

Use the software synthesis capabilities of ESX24 or KONTAKT to stack these oscillators into complex polysynths, and your imagination with the modulation/filters/effects etc to create epic sounding analogue monstrosities!

Waveform 72 features

  • 100 patches + 20 multis for Kontakt (requires Kontakt 4.2.2).
  • 150 patches for ESX.
  • Sonic character and nostalgia of the Mellotron.
  • 300 MB download.

Waveform 72 is available to purchase for the introductory price of £10.99 GBP. A demo version containing some patches with one of the 7 waveforms (sawtooth triangle) is available as a free download from Tronsonic.
