Bronto Scorpio Music has launched Additions, a soundset for the Diva virtual analog synthesizer by u-he.
Additions is a small collection of 16 presets for Diva and is meant to be an addition to the Dimensions soundbank.
The 16 presets, which range from strange atmospheres to smooth arpeggios, were made to compliment the Dimensions presets nicely, but can of course also be used on their own!
As usual, great attention has been paid to small details and most of the presets have many MIDI controls assigned, to make them as flexible as possible.
The soundset is available for purchase for 2.50 EUR.

u-he has launched Bazille Patch Competition #1, a chance to win a free u-he plug-in of your choice.
We’ve brought our sound design contests back to life.
First off is a series of competitions for Bazille, for which we provide free temporary serials during public beta testing.
Each contest goes for ten days in four categories. There’ll be 20 prizes (one u-he plug-in of choice and 4 x 50$ vouchers in *each* category).
So I think it’s a good chance to get patching and win something, even if you don’t have any u-he synth and even if you submit only a single patch.

u-he has released a release candidate for version 1.3 of its ACE modular synthesizer instrument for Windows and Mac.
It contains those more than 100 niggles and bugs fixed since last autumn, we’ve added 200 new HS Presets (like Diva, with an optional folder to purely browse those), it features the new Scope with options (we have not changed it for “pale” resize… simply because the resize code will change shortly anyway) and the new ModMapper drawing tools. It also features a new “filter reset” function in the circuit bending section.
Please give it a whirl and let us know if anything all too awkward happens
The release candidate is available for download from the u-he forum at KVR Audio.
