Progress Audio has announced it has reduced the price for ShapeShifter, a multi-effects plug-in for Windows.

ShapeShifter is a multi-effect VST plug-in which gives you a number of tools for changing your sounds, ranging from subtle effects through to extreme mangling of your audio.

ShapeShifter features

• Waveshaper linked to a step sequencer, allowing you to create changes in tone that normal waveshapers can’t achieve.

MeldaProduction has released updates for its free VST plug-ins.

Changes in the updates

• MeldaProduction Envelope System (MES) – every envelope can contain unlimited number of points of several curvature types and per-point smoothing with advanced user interface and ultra-high speed processing engine, which makes the software 120%-400% faster (measured on SSE2 machines). Everything computed in 64-bit as usual for maximal sonic quality.

rs-met (Robin Schmidt’s Music Engineering Tools) has released three freeware VST plug-ins: Func Shaper, Track Meter and Signal Analyzer.

• Func Shaper is a waveshaping distortion plugin based on a mathematical expression evaluator. You can enter an expression to create the function which will be used as waveshaping transfer function.
• Track Meter is a plugin to display the current level of a stereo input signal separately for the left, right, mid and side channels and also to display the cross-correlation between the two channels.
• Signal Analyzer is a combined oscilloscope / spectrum-analyzer plugin for inspecting signals in realtime in the time- and frequency domain.
