The Lower Rhythm A-150

The Lower Rhythm has released A-150, a free amplifier effect plug-in for Windows.

The A-150 is a new and very improved version of our older amp, the A-110. Intended to enrich your sounds by blending both dry and wet signals, the A-150 includes a dry channel as well as a tube-simulated channel with a compressor, 9-Band EQ & five-mode filter (three different lowpass settings, highpass and bandpass).

Designed for everything from drums to guitar, bass, monosynths and electric organs / piano, the A-150 serves as an aggressive, versatile amplifier.

A-150 features

  • Full stereo capability.
  • 2 Channels (one clean, one processed w/2 tube stages).
  • Compressor.
  • 9-Band Equalizer.
  • Filter with 5 Modes (3 different LP, HP & BP).

The A-150 Amplifier is available as a freeware VST effect plug-in for Windows PC.

From looking at the image of the Lower Rhythm’s A150 amplifier. It appears to be an awesome piece of software. I’ve visited their web site and that vst is no where to be found. What gives here? I can’t even find any user reviews or downloads for the A150 amplifier. I forgot that there are a few sites on the net that are charging around $5 USD to download the A150 supposedly to pay for bandwidth. I may just go ahead and pay the fee.

I don’t see the A150 anymore though, maybe just contact them and see what’s up…
