Damn, son, where’d you find this? Real trap heads are already familiar with UZ’s contributions to the genre. From seminal releases on Mad Decent to trendsetting Diplo and Friends guest appearances, on to curating records for his own label Quality Goods, the formerly-anonymous trap trailblazer has built a career on revealing new sounds to fresh audiences.
This huge sample pack represents another step in UZ’s ongoing transition from megastar DJ to behind-the-scenes cultural influencer. You’ll find UZ’s signature sonic fingerprint in everything inside: crispy hats that rattle like spent brass, diabolical synth atmospheres, organic Foley recordings, and much more. Here’s what the man himself has to say:
“I decided to do this sample pack because none of them were representing me and my sound. Of course, some of them try to sound like me, but I’d rather give you the Real Trap Shit samples myself.
