Voxengo updates PHA-979 to v2.1
Voxengo has released version 2.1 of PHA-979, a track phase and time alignment audio plug-in for Windows and Mac.
PHA-979 can be very useful during mixing sessions, especially when working with the sound material recorded through an array of microphones. In many cases this allows you to solve various phasing problems arising from the microphone placement chosen during the tracking session. In other cases this process may help you to align drums to each other and to align the bass to drums and other instruments bringing punch and time coherence not attainable by the ordinary time-aligning alone.
New in PHA-979 v2.1
- Multi-band correlation meter, greatly simplifies phase- and time-aligning process (also supports an external side-chain input).
- Crash problem fixed with non-center panning setting.
- Delay and phase dimming problem fixed.
- Latency change reporting fixed in AudioUnits.
PHA-979 is still available for the introductory price of $69.95 USD until June 9, 2009. A demo version of can be downloaded from the Voxengo website.
