Voxengo updates Polysquasher and Recorder

Voxengo has released updated versions of Polysquasher and the freeware Recorder, two VST effect plug-ins for Windows PC.

Polysquasher offers a highly transparent compression performance and a high level of control, with only a minimum number of adjustable settings available at users’ disposal, making it ideal for common mastering applications. Version 1.5 allows for the parameter knobs to be adjusted using the mouse wheel. The Access violation error on systems with >2GB memory has been solved as well.

Recorder is an utility audio plug-in which allows you to record the output of the channel or bus into the stereo WAV file of specified bit depth. Routing to MME (multimedia extensions) soundcard is also supported. The “Bit depth not restoring correctly on preset load” issue has been fixed in version 1.4.
