Wavesfactory has announced the release of Mercury FX, a native audio plugin featuring the effects included in the Mercury Pro piano library for Native Instruments Kontakt & Kontakt Player.
Now you can enjoy Metropolis Plates, a great peak compressor, a fabulous tilt style EQ and a high quality stereo chorus in all your tracks.
Paul B. Norris, the Grammy Award Winner (Alicia Keys, Ed Sheeran, Rihanna), and Metropolis Studio’s engineer behind Mercury sent me an e-mail just a few weeks after its release saying: “Hey, we love the library here at Metropolis, congratulations! It would be very nice to have the included effects as a native plugin, can you do that?”.
So we have been working on it since then and here we present it for free. Here you have it, Paul! :)
Mercury FX features
- Metropolis Plates: EMT140s plate reverbs from Metropolis Studios with filters, pre delay and wet/dry.
- Compressor: stereo peak compressor with attack, release and make up gain.
- EQ: Tilt style EQ with HP and LP filters.
- Chorus: high quality stereo chorus with dry/wet control.
Mercury FX for Windows and Mac (VST/AU, AAX coming soon) is available exclusively to Mercury Pro users (not Mercury Lite).
