Wavesfactory has announced the release of Whispers, is an exclusive Halloween freebie featuring female/male whispering sound effects with 4 vocals: Ah, Eh, Oh, and Oo.
The library uses filtered white noise to produce the sound of the different vocals and genres. Combining the different vocals doesn’t simply sum up the signals, but it multiplies them. That results in a huge variety of weird whispering sounds.
The background images (aren’t they terrifying?) change randomly every time you load the library. Can you find out how many there are? There can’t be a good Halloween library without hidden messages. So, every time you play a key, a secret random key is chosen from the playable range. If you happen to play that same key that was randomly selected, a VERY HORRIFYING message will appear in the messages bar.
The library is a free download for Kontakt 4.2.4 or higher (full version).
