Winding Road has an article about a 1:1 wire frame sculpture of a Subaru Impreza by artist Benedict Radcliffe.

Wire frame sculpture of a Subaru Impreza
This car looks quite surreal, but it’s not fake! (well, it won’t drive but it’s not a computer model)

What a cool piece of art. It reminds me a bit of those long exposure pictures with head/tail lights.

From Winding Road:

Apparently local traffic cops weren’t pleased that the art was parked outside of the gallery on the street, as over the course of a few days, it was issued a few parking tickets! The piece was recently displayed as part of a larger Radcliffe show at the Paul Smith Gallery in Mayfair last month, and we’re sorry we missed it.

There’s more information on Benedict’s work at Paul Smith’s website.
