23DSP has released two new 1-Knob series effects, a collection of audio plugins with a single control that adjusts multiple internal parameters to deliver musically responsive results with minimal setup.
1-Wobble is designed to reproduce the mechanical instabilities and pitch modulation characteristics of analog tape and vintage playback systems.
Its processing structure includes independent left and right wow & flutter modulation, a chorus layer for stereo width, a gentle saturation stage, and a slow stereo movement section for additional spatial variation. All modulation depths and tonal changes scale progressively with the main knob, allowing a smooth transition from minimal drift to pronounced modulation, while maintaining a natural dry/wet balance.
1-Air is a high-frequency enhancement processor combining a high-shelf EQ, harmonic excitation, and a built-in safety limiter.
Operating primarily between 6 and 12 kHz, it introduces both spectral lift and controlled harmonic content aimed at improving clarity and openness in the high end. The single control manages the EQ boost, excitation intensity, and limiter behavior together, providing a continuous range from neutral to full enhancement without introducing harshness.
The new plugins are included in the updated 1-Bundle, which now contains a total of 9 one-knob audio processors covering a variety of mix and sound design applications, from tone shaping and saturation to modulation and spatial effects.
Available in VST3/AU plugin formats for Windows and Mac, 1-Wobble and 1-Air are €3 EUR each, and the bundle is priced €10 EUR.
