23DSP has released a multi-effect plugin built around two independent processing chains.
Dualite splits into two racks that can run as left and right, or switched to mid and side, letting each half of the signal carry entirely different processing, such as a high-pass on the side channel only, reverb on the side with nothing on the mid, or two different delay times crossing the stereo image.
Dualite features
- 4 lanes: a main Left/right or mid/side pair, plus a parallel lane behind each with its own send, mix, and out.
- 24 effects across tone, character, dynamics, space, and movement categories, up to eight deep per chain in any order.
- Four modulation slots (LFO, envelope follower, or ADSR), assignable to any control with independent depth and polarity per chain.
- Eight host-automatable macros, each mappable to multiple destinations.
- 90 presets across ten categories, tagged by instrument and genre.
- 64 steps of undo, A/B snapshots, crossfaded and delay-compensated bypass, and a resizable window with light and dark themes.
Dualite for Windows, macOS and Linux (VST3, AU and LV2) is available to purchase for €15 EUR.
