Blinksonic° has announced the release of two new expansion packs for KORG’s microKORG2 synthesizer and vocoder instrument.
With 32 presets in each pack, the first volume focuses mainly on contemporary, ambient and atmospheric sounds.
Produced by Sylvain Stoppani, who is the main creator of microKORG2’s UI/UX, it was a natural step for him to be involved in the design of a collection of tones & presets, this in the same spirit as his sound design work for BLINKSONIC°. This pack particularly highlights the timbral flexibility of the synthesizer.
Volume 2 contains a selection of more radical, electric, dynamic and distorted sounds.
Building on the new extended patch possibilities and the new palette of effects available, this pack vol.2 shows that MicroKORG2 still in the game for providing the most eclectic and cutting edge tones: wobble, reese, stabs, leads, acid bass, sfx tones. Sylvain Stoppani signs here the second part of his collection for the microKORG2, through a cinematic aesthetic, according to the vision of a Cyberretro universe, with the same wonky taste that can be found in his plugins.
The sound packs are available at the KORG store for $10 USD each. They are currently on sale at a 50% discount as part of a Holiday Sale.
