Independent sound community site and marketplace A Sound Effect has introduced the Indie Sound Awards, a new award that celebrates the best from the sound community when it comes to sound effects libraries, plugins, and virtual instruments.
Independent sound releases have soared in popularity and sheer numbers over the past few years, so the Indie Sound Awards are meant as a way of honoring and highlighting the absolute gems that the community has to offer.
Everybody can now nominate their favorite sound effects library, plug-in, or virtual instrument and as a bonus, participants are also included in a random draw to win Mindful Audio’s ‘Nature / Wildlife Bundle,’ a 300+ GB collection of pristine nature recordings captured around the globe.
Award categories include: Best Sound Effects Library • Best Plug-in • Best Virtual Instrument + sub-categories such as Best Animal Sound Effects Library • Best Ambience Sound Effects Library • Best Sci-fi Sound Effects Library • Best Vehicle Sound Library
Nominations close on January 10th, 2022, and the finalists and winners will be presented later in January 2022.
