Applied Acoustics Systems has announced the release of a free audio sample pack as a preview of its Masala String Studio VS-2 sound bank by Christian Laffitte.
Not a mere ensemble of sounds, Masala stages an entire collection of new instruments that you’ll love to learn and discover.
These instruments are light and responsive to the touch, full of magic with bounces, buzzes, and sizzles. Their timbres are from nowhere and everywhere—an adventurous mélange of tastes and flavours.
The sample pack comprises 42 one-shots of basses, drones, sound effects, leads, plucks, and percussions.
The samples are available as high resolution WAV files and can be loaded in any DAW or sampler like the Teenage Engineering OP-1, Elektron Octatrack, Rytm, and Digitakt, Ableton Simpler, Native Instruments Maschine, Akai MPC, and Korg Volca Sample and Electribe 2 Sampler.
