2B Played Music has announced the release of the successor to its 2B Clipped software clipper effect.
2B Clipped 2 features an engine that is built to produce high-quality clip distortion signals from its easy-to-use interface.
For 2B Clipped 2 we have raised the bar a lot. We have developed an additional engine that works to improve the character of the clip distorted signal. This immediately gives the opportunity to choose between different engine options.
The large character knob first adds some character to the sounds you put through the plug-in, but as soon as you open the distortion knob more than half it will transform into a clip distortion. In this way, the plug-in is suitable not only for adding subtle character to your sounds, but also for completely overdriving them.
Version 2 of 2B Clipped lets you transform exactly that part of the sound that is needed with added functionality borrowed from the 2B Filtered plugin, and high-quality oversampling (up to 32x) ensures a much higher quality of the clip distorted signal.
Available in VST/VST3 and AU formats for Windows and macOS, 2B Clipped 2 is priced 14.99 EUR incl. VAT.
