AethisDSP has announced the release of version 1.0.0 of its guitar plugin combining neural-captured tube amps, a full pedalboard, and a scale-aware harmonizer in one signal chain.
Aethis models each amp off real hardware from preamp through power stage rather than just the front end, and pairs them with two independent cabs running six mics each, loadable with custom WAV impulse responses.
Aethis features
- 3 neural-captured amps:
- Lumina, a clean head with extended headroom.
- Ember, a two-channel hot-rodded rock amp with pick-dynamic breakup.
- Noctis, a two-channel modern high-gain head built for low tunings.
- Dual independent cabs with six mics each, adjustable mic position and panning, cab blending, and support for custom WAV impulse responses.
- 10 modeled pedals covering boost, noise gate, compressor, a TS808-style overdrive, chorus, delay, reverb, bitcrush, phaser, and flanger, reorderable before or after the amp.
- 9-band fully parametric EQ with a live spectrum display, switchable pre- or post-amp.
- 4-voice smart harmonizer with up to 15 semitones of range, per-voice pan/level/delay, scale-aware quantizing, MIDI mode, and formant control.
Aethis for Windows and macOS (VST3, AU and standalone) is priced $34.99 USD. Customers can use coupon code PROMO20 at the checkout to get a 20% discount for a limited time. A 14-day free trial version is available to try the plugin.
