AIDE AUDIO has recently released a cleanup plugin designed to restore your audio. Built around a single LEARN button, TP-1 Tone Purifier analyzes the source material and applies the optimal noise and resonance processing.
It unifies noise reduction, a resonance suppressor, and a 4-band EQ, letting you dial the amount of noise removal intuitively. The LEARN function captures the noise profile of the source, letting you strip out background noise without compromising musicality — ideal for studio production and post-processing of live recordings alike.
TP-1 combines three restoration tools in one window:
- Noise Reduction — Press LEARN and play up to 8 seconds of the noise floor (room tone, mic hiss, HVAC), and TP-1 builds an adaptive noise profile. Reduction then runs continuously in real time, with a single Purify knob to dial in the amount.
- Resonance Suppressor — Detects and attenuates room and microphone resonances up to -12 dB across a user-defined frequency range.
- 4-Band EQ — Band 1 HPF/Peak, two Peak bands, Band 4 LPF/Peak. 20 Hz – 20 kHz, ±18 dB, adjustable Q, with a real-time EQ curve.
A spectrum analyzer shows the signal before and after processing, showing exactly what’s being removed.
Currently available as a VST3 plugin for Windows (AU support for macOS is planned), TP-1 is free to download. The full LEARN workflow, EQ, and resonance suppressor are usable at no cost, with noise and resonance reduction capped at 50%. The Full version, which unlocks 100% reduction capacity, is on sale at an introductory price of $20 USD (regularly $40 USD).
