Plugin Boutique has announced a limited time introductory sale on plugins from ALM / Busy Circuits, offering up to 55% off off on its FM drum synth & step sequencer and bundle of effect plugins for a few days only.
ALM / Busy Circuits, is a UK-based audio technology company, that produces innovative, useful devices and software for working with music and sound. Their aim is to build products that foster creativity through engaging, playful experiences. They combine past influences with modern concepts and possibilities, to allow space for new ways of working and ideas to flourish.
On sale for $40 USD, the Motto Akamie is a 6-voice FM drum synthesizer and step sequencer. Each voice of the synth is inspired by the renowned ‘Akemie’s Taiko‘ Eurorack module, featuring similar controls and playful FM sounds from pure sinusoidal oscillations to mega clonks to chaotic self-feedbacking enveloped noise.
The built in multitrack step sequencer allows for quick polyrhythmic pattern creation with step modulation of all parameters, randomisation and Pam style scaling across storable pattern banks and presets. Voices can also be played chromatically and controlled via MIDI with support for MTS-ESP microtuning.
A purchase includes 2051 Bit Corrupter real-time audio buffer plugin for free during the promotion. It is designed to imitate malfunctioning digital audio equipment for glitchy, stuttering repeat effects using enhanced DSP code from the MFX hardware with a clean, simple and expanded user interface.
Also on sale for $40 USD is the MFX Bundle (regular $90 USD), which comprises the MFX series Echos, Dynamics, Modulations, Digiverbs, Physivebs, and Bit Corrupter. The plugins run the same DSP code from the MFX hardware, but each has some added enhancements for extra creativity.
The offer expires June 2nd, 2025.
