Artists in DSP has announced a major free beta update for its text-to-DSP plugin powered by the Cmajor language.
Amorph now generates custom graphical interfaces alongside fully functional DSP code.
The professional audio production market is flooded with static sample libraries and text-to-audio tools that only spit out rendered files. Amorph is different: it creates live, editable plugins; complete with working DSP and a custom UI you design yourself.
Changes in Amorph (beta v0.9.9)
- Custom UI Engine: Users can now build, tweak, and design their own custom user interfaces for every generated patch.
- Amorph MIDI: Based on massive community demand, a third dedicated variant takes MIDI in and spits MIDI out. No longer limited to audio effects and synths, users can now prompt and generate custom arpeggiators, sequencers, and complex MIDI logic tools from plain text.
- The Hub: Browse and download presets from the cloud directly inside Amorph. No more manual installs for every patch, all users will be able to share their own patches through The Hub in the future.
- Performance: Sample-accurate MIDI timing and fixed parameter recall for all DAWs.
Available in VST3 and AU plugin formats for Windows and macOS, Amorph is a “pay what you like” download, including free.
