Anemond has announced an update to its extreme timestretcher that is designed to turn any sound into a lush soundscape.
Version 1.2.1 of Sloom comes with various fixes.
By radically slowing down playback, sounds are transformed into smooth, malleable matter that can be expressively modified with a unique spectral shaping module. Working both on audio files and on live input, Sloom lets you easily create rich textures for ambient tracks, sound design, art installations… They can span hours, days or much longer… How far can you go?

- Fixed clipping of exported wave file.
- Fixed errors when switching between some audio devices in standalone version.
- Fixed linear shaper level jumps when reopening window or switching between shaper modes.
- Fixed: restore freehand shaper after closing and reopening plugin window.
- Fixed crash when closing and reopening plugin window with shaper active.
- Fixed automation of shaping level with plugin window closed.
The update is free for existing users. New customer can purchase Sloom for Windows and Mac (VST3/AU and standalone) for €39 EUR.
