Applied Acoustics Systems has released version 1.1 of its Multiphonics CV-1 modular synthesizer for Windows and macOS.

This new version enhances Multiphonics’ module library with two brand-new modules: a versatile Low-Pass Gate, which borrows ideas from West Coast synthesis; and a Ladder Filter, an East Coast synthesis staple found in some of the most popular vintage subtractive synths.

Version 1.1 is complemented with 15 exciting new patches featuring these two modules in a wide range of contexts. Additionally the on-screen keyboard behavior has been improved, and a problem with the VST3 plug-in editor resize in Acoustica Mixcraft has been fixed.

Multiphonics CV-1 is available for purchase at the Applied Acoustics Systems store and from distributor Plugin Boutique, priced $99 USD.

Existing users can get the version 1.1 update free of charge directly from the AAS website. The plugin runs on macOS and Windows in 64-bit host sequencers that support the VST/VST3, AU, and AAX Native formats.
