Applied Acoustics Systems has released an update to its Strum GS-2 synthesizer instrument dedicated to the emulation of acoustic and electric guitars.

Version 2.2.3 3 includes support for VST3 and NKS formats, and various fixes and enhancements.

The synthesizer is entirely based on the AAS physical modeling technology and uses no sampling nor wave tables. Instead it produces sound by solving, on the fly, mathematical equations modeling the different components of a guitar and how they interact. This elaborate synthesis engine responds dynamically to the control signals it receives while you play thereby reproducing the richness and responsiveness of real instruments.

Strum GS-2 comes with a huge collection of acoustic and electric guitars, automatic chord recognition, sophisticated chord voicing, integrated strumming and picking action, MIDI riff library, amp and effects.

The Strum GS-2 plugin, Strum GS-2 +PACKS and Sound Packs are currently on sale at a 50% discount. The offer expires March 12th, 2019.
