Aqeel Aadam Sound has introduced a new sample-based instrument that was built together with BlankFor.ms (Tyler).
Designed with creativity, flexibility, and performance in mind, Outgrowth provides unique, multifaceted ways to reimagine audio with your mouse or keyboard.
Tyler and I have a shared interest in modular synths, vintage gear, tape machines, and many other things that drew us together when we were both living in New York. Almost a decade later, we’ve channeled that shared history into a device that I think is truly special.
It’s got five engines for reimagining samples, a slew of unique audio effects of our own imagining, and an entirely customizable modulation matrix for turning Outgrowth into whatever generative or performative instrument you can dream up.
Available in VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats for Windows and Mac, Outgrowth is on sale for the intro price of $50 USD through December 21st, 2025 (regular $65 USD). The iOS version will be available soon.
