Music producer and sound designer Arsen has announced the release of two Kontakt instrument libraries which aim to capture the authentic sounds of traditional Armenian instruments.
The authentic Armenian Duduk library features true chromatic sampling (every single note recorded in half-steps) with 6 velocity layers and 6 Round Robin variations.
Deep expression control is offered through a dedicated vibrato group via CC1 (Mod Wheel), natural legato, portamento, and 2 release sample groups.
Armenian Dhol comes with up to 3 velocity layers per hit with 4 Round Robin variations.
The library includes a collection of 57 custom MIDI groove patterns featuring authentic Caucasian 6/8, Georgian Rhythms, Kochari Rumba, and Slow Sheram rhythms, plus a free bonus “Kopal Dhol” instrument.
Priced $39 USD each, the libraries require the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt.
