Arturia has announced that it is now shipping the MatrixBrute Noir Edition, bringing a new design and new sounds and a firmware update to the powerful analog monophonic synthesizer.

Now available in a sleek black coat with new knob caps and black ionized parts, MatrixBrute Noir boasts three Brute oscillators, a dual Steiner-Parker & ladder filter, and a modulation matrix that allows users to carve their own sonic path in exquisite, intricate, complex detail.

The synth comes with 64 additional presets, offering an expanded sonic palette of 320 presets in total. The Noir edition comes with 2 new free sound banks.

Kinescope is a cinematic collection with sounds ranging from avant-garde musical textures to workshop foley effects, while Brute Alchemy brings some essential ingredients with timbres inspired by the most iconic synth sounds of all time, including glassy FM sounds, stadium prog-rock analog, the nostalgic basslines of house music, and more.

Priced 1,999 EUR ex. VAT, this special edition release is only 500 units worldwide.
