Audiority has announced an update to the Polaris echo/reverb plugin inspired by early hardware digital reverbs of the late 1970s.

Polaris is able to provide echo, ambience and reverb out of a single multitap delay line. Version 1.7 includes a new HQ Mode and Newsfeed. It now also includes the VST3 plugin format and support for Mac OSX Catalina.

We extended this technique by making the Echo tap recirculating with the Diffusion section, allowing longer reverb tails. Furthermore you can easily edit all taps to create your own room responses, resonant combs, Karplus-like tuned delay lines, Chorus, Flanging, Vibrato and much more.

Polaris is available for 45 EUR from Audiority and at distributor Plugin Boutique. Note that the plugin is now only available in 64-bit VST/VST3, AU and AAX formats.
