AudioThing has announced an update to its vintage transistor organ instrument. Version 1.2 of the Philicorda comes with a new FXs page (Echo, Phaser, Flanger), new presets, sustain pedal support, a standalone version and support for macOS 15 Sequoia.
Philicorda is a faithful plugin emulation of the legendary 1960s Philips* Philicorda organ. This plugin replicates the transistor-based sound of the later GM751 models, delivering the distinctively warm yet clear tones that made the Philicorda a classic.
Like the original hardware, Philicorda features a vibrato circuit, a spring reverb, and two speakers. We have also added some extra features: overdrive, envelope generator, leakage, bias, and key click.
Philicorda for desktop (VST/VST3, AU, AAX, CLAP, and standalone) is on sale for 29 USD/EUR at the AudioThing store and from Plugin Boutique until March 31st, 2025 (regular 59 USD/EUR). The update is free for existing users.
The iOS version is available at the App Store for $12.95 USD.
